Train here. Go anywhere. When you study welding at Butler, you train under an AWS certified welding instructor and use state-of-the-art welding equipment. This high-wage, in-demand technical career can take you to the aircraft industry in Wichita, the oil fields in Texas and North Dakota or a ship building plant in South Carolina – you decide where you want to explore. Employers are knocking on our doors asking for graduates. Earn a nine-month certificate or get a two-year degree and head off to work. If you get your two-year degree, you may obtain just the edge you need to move even farther up the work-force ladder.

UTLX has a location in El Dorado, Kan. that focuses on tank car manufacturing and repair. Since 1891, Union Tank Car Company, along with its Canadian affiliate Procor, has provided high-quality equipment and comprehensive tank car services to customers throughout North America. Union Tank Car Company is known for tank car leasing, manufacturing and repair operations.
