Transfer Student Enrollment Checklist
As a Transfer Student at Butler:

I am not an international student.
If you are a Transfer Student, follow the steps below to enroll:
Step 1: Apply for Admission
Complete the Application for Admission . You will receive an acceptance letter in the mail with directions to register and reset your Pipeline User Name and Password. You will need to register and reset your account within 90 days. Log in to Pipeline to access your Butler email and use it for all Butler communication.
Step 2: Complete the Scholarship Application form
24 hours after setting up your Pipeline account, you can use your pipeline login and complete the Scholarship Application Form
If transferring to Butler between terms and Butler was not listed on the original FAFSA application, you will need to utilize your PIN number to add Butler (001906) to your application before awards can be made.
Receipt of transcripts may change a student's Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status if their GPA and/or Completion Rate does not meet the Butlers SAP Policy. Butler Office of Student Financial Aid will contact you with a request for additional information if required for verification.
(Optional) Step 3: Complete the Housing Application
If you intend to live in the residence halls at Butler of El Dorado, don't forget to submit your Housing Application . Additional, make sure you submit the application fee and required immunizations. Apply early! Placement is sent via Butler email on June 1.
Step 4: Apply for Federal Financial Aid
Complete your FAFSA online in order to apply for Federal Financial Aid
Step 5: Submit your official transcripts
Submit your final/official high school transcript, GED, other college transcript(s) and/or military credit sent to:

Electronic Transcripts should be emailed using a secure electronic exchange from your high school, college, or other educational institution to registrar@butlercc.edu. Transcripts emailed from the student are not considered official and will be used for advising purposes only.
The College requires an official transcript be sent from each institution for prior coursework to be used toward a degree program. In addition, certain students (VA, athletes, and select Financial Aid recipients) are required to provide all official transcripts to the Registrar's Office. All official transcripts on file will be used in the determination of Financial Aid eligibility.
(Optional) Step 6: Compete a Career Assessment
If you are undecided about your college major, complete the 60 question Career Assessment in Career Coach at butlercc.emsicc.com and bring your results when you meet with an Academic Advisor.
Step 7: Enroll with an Academic Advisor
Whether you are taking a class online or on one of our campuses, we recommend you enroll with an Academic Advisor at one of our campus locations . You may also Request to be Released to Enroll online.
After enrollment, you can also log in to Pipeline to enroll online, add/drop classes, make payments, check your grades, etc.
Step 8: Set Up Payment
Payment can be made through your Student Payment Center in Pipeline, in person, or over the phone. For detailed information on viewing your bill, making a payment, and setting up a payment plan, visit our Billing & Payment Information page or contact our Accounts Receivable Office at 316.322.3181
Submit payment for your classes or set up a payment plan at Accounts Receivable or via the Student Payment Center in Pipeline under the Student Quick Clicks dropdown by the due date to avoid any late fees.
Step 9: Get Your Student Identification
Students are issued a photo identification card for each academic year. Students should carry their student id card at all times. The card admits them to all college activities and is used to identify those who have contracted for meals at the cafeteria. An I.D. is required to make purchases utilizing financial aid and to purchase computer software at the Butler Bookstores, or to utilize college computer labs. Cards are available as soon as students have registered for classes, and can be acquired at multiple locations:
El Dorado: Registrar’s Office. Hubbard Center.
Andover: Copy Center, 6000 building.
Wichita: Butler Service Center.
If you live in the residence halls, you can obtain a Parking Permit at the East Dorm front office.
Step 10: Get Your Textbooks
Each course you are enrolled in has a code. This code is located on your course schedule (i.e. College Algebra is MA 135) To obtain your textbooks for your classes, visit the Butler Bookstore website and use the course code in the Textbook Lookup tool.
NOTE: Butler of McConnell students must have a Background Check to receive a base pass.
