Excel 2016 Part 1
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to create and develop Excel worksheets and workbooks in order to work with and analyze the data that is critical to the success of your organization.
You will:
- Get started with Microsoft Office Excel 2016.
- Perform calculations.
- Modify a worksheet.
- Format a worksheet.
- Print workbooks.
- Manage workbooks.
Target Trainee:
This course is intended for trainees who wish to gain the foundational understanding of Microsoft Office Excel 2013/2016 that is necessary to create and work with electronic spreadsheets.
Excel 2016 Part 2
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to leverage the power of data analysis and presentation in order to make informed, intelligent organizational decisions.
You will:
- Customize the Excel environment.
- Create advanced formulas.
- Analyze data by using functions and conditional formatting.
- Organize and analyze datasets and tables.
- Visualize data by using basic charts.
- Analyze data by using PivotTables, slicers, and PivotCharts.
Target Trainee:
This course is designed for trainees who already have foundational knowledge and skills in Excel 2013 and who wish to begin taking advantage of some of the higher-level functionality in Excel to analyze and present data.
Excel 2016 Part 3
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to perform advanced data analysis, collaborate on workbooks with other users, and automate workbook functionality.
You will:
- Work with multiple worksheets and workbooks simultaneously.
- Share and protect workbooks.
- Automate workbook functionality.
- Apply conditional logic.
- Audit worksheets.
- Use automated analysis tools.
- Present your data visually.
Target Trainee:
This course is intended for trainees who are experienced Excel 2013/2016 users and have a desire or need to advance their skills in working with some of the more advanced Excel features. Trainees will likely need to troubleshoot large, complex workbooks, automate repetitive tasks, engage in collaborative partnerships involving workbook data, construct complex Excel functions, and use those functions to perform rigorous analysis of extensive, complex datasets.
Access 2016
In this course, you will create and manage an Access 2016 database.
You will:
- Navigate within the Microsoft Access application environment, create a simple database, and customize Access configuration options.
- Organize and manage data stored within Access tables.
- Use queries to join, sort, and filter data from different tables.
- Use forms to make it easier to view, access, and input data.
- Create and format custom reports.
Target Trainee:
This course is designed for trainees who wish to establish a foundational understanding of Microsoft Office Access 2016, including the skills necessary to create a new database, construct data tables, design forms and reports, and create queries.
Outlook Part 1
In this course, you will use Outlook to manage your email communications, including composing, reading, and responding to emails; schedule appointments and meetings; manage contact information; schedule tasks and create notes; customize message response options; and organize your mail.
You will:
- Navigate Outlook 2016 to read and respond to email.
- Use the Address Book, and format and spell check new messages.
- Attach files and insert illustrations to messages.
- Customize read and response options.
- Use flags, categories, and folders to organize messages.
- Create and work with Contacts.
- Create appointments and schedule meetings in Calendar.
- Create and work with Tasks and Notes.
Target Trainee:
This course is intended for people who have a basic understanding of Microsoft® Windows® and need to know how to use Outlook as an email client to manage their email communications, calendar appointments, contact information, and other communication tasks. In addition to creating and sending email, this course will introduce you to organizing your mail, working with attachments, formatting message text, scheduling meetings, and responding to meeting invitations.
Word 2016 Part 1
In this course, you will learn fundamental Word 2016 skills.
You will:
- Navigate and perform common tasks in Word, such as opening, viewing, editing, saving, and printing documents, and configuring the application.
- Format text and paragraphs.
- Perform repetitive operations efficiently using tools such as Find and Replace, Format Painter, and Styles.
- Enhance lists by sorting, renumbering, and customizing list styles.
- Create and format tables.
- Insert graphic objects into a document, including symbols, special characters, illustrations, pictures, and clip art.
- Format the overall appearance of a page through page borders and colors, watermarks, headers and footers, and page layout.
- Use Word features to help identify and correct problems with spelling, grammar, readability, and accessibility.
Target Trainee:
This course is intended for trainees who want to learn basic Word 2016 skills, such as creating, editing, and formatting documents; inserting simple tables and creating lists; and employing a variety of techniques for improving the appearance and accuracy of document content.
Word 2016 Part 2
In this course, you will learn to create and modify complex documents and use tools that allow you to customize those documents.
You will:
- Organize content using tables and charts.
- Customize formats using styles and themes.
- Insert content using quick parts.
- Use templates to automate document formatting.
- Control the flow of a document.
- Simplify and manage long documents.
- Use mail merge to create letters, envelopes, and labels.
Target trainee:
This course is designed for trainees who wish to use Microsoft Word to create and modify complex documents and use tools that allow them to customize those documents.
Word 2016 Part 3
In this course, you will learn to create and modify complex documents and use tools that allow you to customize those documents.
You will:
- Use images in a document
- Create custom graphic elements
- Collaborate on documents.
- Add reference marks and notes.
- Secure a document.
- Create and manipulate forms.
- Create macros to automate a task.
Target trainee:
This course is intended for trainees who want to use advanced capabilities in Word, including image manipulation, collaboration and revision tracking, cross-referencing and linking, document security, forms, and process automation through macros.
