Make a critical difference

Butler’s training program for EMTs emphasizes real-world clinical experience in a variety of emergency settings. You’ll learn what it’s like to work with Butler County Sheriff Detectives, and train for rescue operations with Butler County Rescue Squad. You’ll get firsthand exposure to EMS operations in the field with Butler County EMS and Sedgwick County EMS and in area emergency rooms. We’ll teach you critical skills such as wound management, how to immobilize a fractured limb or neck and the use of emergency equipment like defibrillators and airway devices. **This includes two years of tuition based on being a Kansas Resident and taking 60 credit hours, estimated fees, and estimated books. Housing and meal plans not included. Fees may vary depending on specific degree path.
