Home Health Aide
Sometimes house calls are the best medicine.
Providing healthcare services in the home setting is a trend that is growing along with the ranks of the nation's elderly. Maintaining an independent life in their own homes is not only preferred by most seniors, it also contributes to their prospects for longer life. Home Health Aides (HHA) are at the forefront of the home healthcare movement, providing the essential services that make life at home safe and healthy for seniors.
The HHA certification program will prepare you to take the test for certification in the state of Kansas. Working with instructors who are experienced caregivers themselves, you'll learn to provide all the daily care and support necessary to keep your patient in the home as well as active in the community.
