Butler is on the forefront of the demand for Activity Director & Social Service Designees (ADSSD), offering a certification program. The program equips you to plan and implement social activities that provide therapeutic benefits for the elderly. You'll learn about the regulatory environment governing senior social services, methods for effective conflict resolution, and best practices for managing an activity department.

Prerequisites for Activity Directory & Social Services Designee (AH 116, 4 credit hours)

  • Experience in long-term care is helpful
