The Fire Science Department is getting ready to launch its newly installed premier fire training tower.
The department will host a ribbon-cutting event later this month and welcomes the public to attend and see the facility up close.
The new training tower was installed at Fire Station #2 at 2610 W. 6th Street in El Dorado. That location also houses the college’s Fire Science program and its fire science residency program.
The ribbon-cutting will be held Friday, July 29, at 10 a.m. A short program, some demonstrations and refreshments will be part of the event.
